SSC CHSL Recruitment/Vacancy 2022
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) released vacancies to the posts of Lower Divisional Clerk/Junior Secretariat Assistant, Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC), Data Entry Operator (DEO), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Sorting Assistants (SA), Postal Assistant (PA), Data Entry Operator. The Selection Process will consist of three-stage Tier-I, Tier-II, and Tier-II. The examination will include CBT-I, Descriptive Paper (Tier-I), and Skill Test/Typing Test (Tier-III).

SSC CHSL 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility Criteria include Citizenship, Age limit, and Educational Qualification.
- Nationality/Citizenship – A candidate must be (a) a citizen of India, or (B) a subject of Nepal, or (c) a subject of Bhutan or (d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January, 1962 with the mind set of permanently settling in India, or (e) a person of India origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
- Age Limit (As on 01.01.2022) : The minimum age limit for the posts is 18 year and maximum age is 27 years as on 01.01.2022. Candidate born not before 02.01.1995 and not later than 01.01.2004 are eligible to apply. As per govt. norms permissible relaxation in upper age limit for different categories are as under.

Tier-II (Descriptive Paper):
Tier-II Paper will be a descriptive Paper of 100 Marks in Pen and Paper Mode. The duration of the Descriptive Paper will be for one hour (20 minutes compensatory time will also be provided to the candidates eligible for a scribe as per Para 8.1 and 8.2 above). The Paper will comprise of writing Essay/ Letter/Application/ Precis etc. The minimum qualifying marks in Tier-II would be 33 percent. The paper will have to be written either in Hindi or in English. Part paper written in Hindi and Part in English will be awarded zero marks.
Tier-II (Skill Test/Typing test)
Skill Test/ Typing Test for the shortlisted candidates will be conducted on the computers provided by the Commission or its authorized agency. Skill Test/ Typing Test will be of qualifying nature.
Typing test for LDC/JSA and Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant
The medium of Typing Test will be Hindi or English. The candidates will have to opt for the medium of Typing Test (i.e. either Hindi or English) in the online Application Form. The choice of Typing Test given by the candidate in the online Application
