BN Mandal University Pass marks and Division (General)
In order to pass the BA, B.Sc, and B.Com (General) examinations a candidate must obtain 33% of the total marks in each subject of the examination. Provided that if he has offered two languages in composition he must obtain at least 15 marks in each language and 33 marks in the aggregate.
BN Mandal University Pass marks and Division (Honours)
In order to pass the BA, B.Sc, and B.Com (General) examinations a candidate must obtain 45% of the total marks in the group of subjects for Honours study and 33 % of the total marks of the other subjects of the examination.
After the publication of the result, the university issued a mark sheet for successful candidates. Those students who get 60% are treated as first division class and candidates who obtain less than 60% but not less than 45% are treated as 2nd division. A candidate obtaining 75% or more marks shall be declared to have passed with Distinction.
